The Royal Enclosure is at the heart of Royal Ascot.  Within this area, gentlemen are required to wear morning dress with a top hat and ladies must wear formal day wear. Hats should be worn; a headpiece which has a base of 4 inches (10cm) or more in diameter is acceptable as an alternative to a hat.  Please note that fascinators are no longer permitted in the Royal Enclosure; neither are headpieces which do not have a base covering a sufficient area of the head (4 inches/10cm).

In January 2012 Royal Ascot announced strict dress codes for the Races.  As one of the worlds greatest social and sporting events, it is important to dress for the occasion and to top off your outfits with a stylish Rosie Olivia Millinery design.
